The Apprentice in Training Class is the initial course in a four-part program designed to provide the foundational knowledge and skills required for obtaining a laser hair removal license. This course focuses on the basics of laser hair removal technology, and safety protocols.
The Laser Technician course allows students to conduct their first 100 treatments at The Shimaa Academy. They will perform 100 treated areas on 4 different live models under the supervision of either a Registered Senior or Registered Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician.
The Senior Laser Technician course allows students to supervise an apprentice-in trainings performing 100 treatments at The Shimaa Academy. You will also learn advanced laser machines such as IPL Photofacial, tattoo removal, and CO2 Fractional laser.
This is the final, highest level. In this level, it is required to take a written exam. Once you have completed the exam and reached a passing grade, you will receive a Professional Laser Technician certificate.
The Advanced Light (IPL) & CO₂ Fractional Aesthetic Training Course prepares students to perform two of the most in-demand aesthetic procedures in the industry: IPL Photofacial and CO₂ Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing.
